Holidays with the arlingtones
Here we go a-caroling!
Come join us for our annual holiday chorus. Listen to our joyous holiday songs, sing-along with the Arlingtones, and enjoy the music of the season! Our repertoire features a well-chosen barbershop chorus collection of classic carols and festive attire.
We’ll be ready to ring in the season with you as we greet metro riders with evening cheer! During the month of December we perform at various metro stations, local retirement homes and other community events.

Everyone in Harmony
with the Arlingtones
The Arlingtones barbershop chorus is a non-profit a cappella group dedicated to preserving and performing barbershop music in Arlington VA, and the surrounding area. Founded in 1957, the chorus and chapter quartets have a well-known tradition of providing clean, wholesome, quality entertainment. The Arlingtones have had quite an impact on northern Virginia. With a stunning range of vocals and sounds, this is one group you will never be able to forget. See what wonderful music they can bring to your next event by exploring the website or visit our sponsor's page to learn different ways to support us!
In barbershop, the melody is usually sung in the second-highest voice part, which we call the “lead.” A high tenor (often a falsetto voice) sings simple harmonies above that melody. The lowest voice, the bass, sings the simpler low harmonies, and a baritone fills in the tricky stuff above and below the melody.
